Sleeping bags and such...

Hello friend!

Today I'm sharing a card we've made at several classes this month.  I didn't come up with the idea (wish I did know so I could give credit), but it has sure been fun teaching it:

The sleeping bag was made with the Top Note die.  To make it a little more like a sleeping bag, I used the Springtime Vintage fabric from the Occasions Mini on the front--but of course it could also be the Springtime Vintage DSP.

The bear is our wonderful Build A Bear die.  I could have added pj's, but liked it this way best.

Wouldn't it be adorable to use this as an invitation to a sleepover?  All the details could go on the back of the sleeping bag (didn't put fabric there so there would be room for a greeting or an invitation).

Back in January I took a paper-piecing class at Country Charm Fabrics --thanks Kim!  Even though its very small, somehow I just couldn't find the time to finish it, until yesterday.  Technically, I guess the only Stampin' Up thing on this are the buttons, but I still had to show you.  It hangs on the pantry door in my kitchen, and it just makes me smile when I see it.

Also, I want to remind you that next Saturday, the 9th at 9:30 a.m. is the first of the Big Shot Quilt Classes.  I'm really looking forward to this one.  If you are interested, go back to my post on March 19  for the details, or give me a call.

Happy Stamping! (and quilting, and scrapping....)
Wendy
